CivicBrand is excited to announce the launch of a year-long Destination Branding project for the Mat-Su Valley, Alaska, in partnership with the Mat-Su Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB). This comprehensive brand study aims to better define the unique offerings of the Mat-Su Valley, capturing the essence of the region through deep engagement with local communities, business owners, and visitors.
As part of this project, CivicBrand has already completed two immersive visits to the area, which included exploring the stunning landscapes and experiencing the local culture firsthand. Our team had the incredible opportunity to go fishing, embark on two different helicopter rides with glacier landings, visit iconic sites such as Hatcher Pass and Independence Mine, the Alaska State Fair, and enjoy the unique attractions at the Musk Ox Farm and the Reindeer Farm. We also took a thrilling jetboard ride and visted local businesses, including Big Dipper Ice Cream and Denali Brewing Company.
In addition to these activities, CivicBrand has engaged in meaningful discussions with tribal leaders, business owners, and residents to gain valuable insights into the heart of the Mat-Su Valley. This engagement is a crucial part of our process as we work to create a brand that truly reflects the spirit of the region.
The project will culminate in the delivery of an updated and refreshed brand strategy, along with a detailed implementation plan, providing the Mat-Su Valley with the tools needed to showcase its unique identity to the world. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the Mat-Su CVB and the broader community as we work together to elevate the Mat-Su Valley as a premier destination.
